Can still keep existing Circle meh? According to the T&Cs, it’s like it will ceased and if no nominations is done by the deadline, ST will remove the Circle benefits from our account. 🤔

What will happen to my existing Singtel Circle benefits if I do not re-nominate my services?
If you do not take any action, you will continue to enjoy your current multi-line discount on your Mobile lines till 28 Feb 2022.

Source: FAQs – Updates to Singtel Circle Benefits

So I urged all NOT to do the new nomination until 27 Feb 2022. If you were to do the new nomination now, YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY forfeit your existing Singtel Circle benefits and the updated benefits will kick in right away.

After doing some calculations, the new benefits basically slashed half of the saving. Customers are at the losing end and Singtel will be profiting.

I just called their Customer Care to voice out the unhappiness of this updated Singtel Circle benefits, the Officer did mentioned that customers is at the losing end but that’s the management decision. I was also told there will be a physical letter sent out to inform customers the changes. The Officer also mentioned there will be a hotline in the letter for customers to share their view on the changes (I highly doubt it’s a direct line, must be 1688.)

Well, after all these years, I only recontract because of the Singtel Circle discounts, now I will finally cancel it. Just nice the contract ends next month.

In this century, who still like to pay $12.90 for a Singtel Set-Top Box (STB)? Where many streaming services doesn’t even require a STB. What a joke to even remove the 50% off STB benefit. :s13:

They are going to lose alot of TV customers. Good job to the person who approved this new changes. 👍🏻

I’m enjoying 25% now, but not going to continue with the 10% since TV ends next month.

10% might as well don’t give 🤣

Any idea if CIS XO Plus qualifies for the Enhanced Singtel Circle? Not clear in their FAQ. Just say no discount/annual handset upgrade. But did not say if we can still enjoy 10% off for fiber and tv.

Wrote to Singtel but no response yet. Only have 1 line. Thanks!

1) you’ll need to change your combo to XO Plus … in order to continue enjoying ST Circle beyond 2022 …

2) if u do not do switch your combo to XO PLUS … you will only enjoy Annual Upgrade Fee Waiver for your Combo line of up to $350 1 last time (depending on contract eligibility … which is what i’m unclear of coz not sure which month they take into account).
IF u do switch to XO PLUS, you’ll maintain your ST Circle status but your annual upgrade fee waiver will be $200 instead of $350.
[the change is XO PLUS can be keyline now. previously XO & XO PLUS cannot be keyline … albeit the annual upgrade fee is $200 instead of $350 … meaning need to top up wor]

i think this is what the change in rules meant … i have yet to sort mine out, likely some time this week … so perhaps now you’ll have some idea … BUT please do confirm with the CSO and not take my words for it
Actually, it’s $200 every 21 months on the XO plan, and not 12 months. Effectively, it’s more expensive (less discount) and less benefit.

“ Q2: What are the updates to the Singtel Circle benefits?
Mobile discounts are now extended to more mobile plans, including XO Plus plans and SIM Only Plus (5G) plans. In addition, you will also start enjoying discounts off your eligible Fibre Broadband and TV subscriptions each month.
The discounts off subscriptions will be standardised at 10% discount on eligible selected Mobile, Broadband and TV subscription.
In addition, you get to enjoy Annual Handset Upgrade fee waiver for your nominated Key Mobile Line, worth $350 for Combo plans and $200 for XO / XO Plus plan.
All these updates take effect from 1 Nov ’21 and customers will be required to re-nominate their plans to start enjoying these new Singtel Circle benefits.”

the $200 every 12 months is for keyline …
if non-keyline … then it’s $200 every 21 months as you pointed out

Finally Singtel TV contract ended on the 7th December,, Packing up the TV box and replace with a Apple TV 4K, subscribe to Cast Chinese pack which cost $5.90 monthly.. I think this way save a lot more than what I paid monthly..

Har, Apple TV is nothing without the channels all have to subscribe individually. Unless u use it to beam only then ya ok.

Yes correct. In fact, folks at home only watched those few chinese channels like Jia Le etc.. All my subscribe JingXuan Trio channels not used at all.. So, it's time now to use Cast instead which is more than sufficient.. Then I charge it to my Singtel bills, 1st 3 months foc, charged from 4th month onwards. I calculated, if using cast instead of Singtel TV, my monthly saving is $66..

Side note, I had Prime video, Netflix as well.. Now including Cast for chinese JiaLe channels.. Already tested cast for 2 days, found no lag in terms of streaming and the quality is somehow similar.

With the downgraded Stinktel Circle 10% flat discount, this made up my mind to cancel the Singtel TV. My monthly bills for Stinktel alone around $500+.. Down the road, will port my sub lines to TPG instead as those are using only data for tablets etc.

Shocked this is not bigger news. How can they be promoting 30% discount to get people to commit to 2-year contracts, then change it so drastically?!
