I don't believe there's a max... I think the rule of thumb should be, don't be a standout... If you bring 8 there, be prepared to be ridiculed but at the same time of course, can lend other people.

But you say till like you have a lot of time to use phone like that

True

Can charge phone, just no charging of power banks from electric points ya?
SAF is sensitive with USB ports/devices

Washing machine I doubt recruits can use it, so many of them, how long it's gonna take?

I can't speak for Tekong, however, during my confinement at HTA, the trainees were not allowed to use the washing machines, but afterwards it was OK. Though many of us still didn't use them as we calculated the cost, and decided it was much easier to handwash our clothes.

lol. you better learn to wake up fast. I am pretty sure they will wake you up cause if you don't fall in on time, they maybe holding in push up position till you fall in. that being said, you better not lay in bed and don't want to get out.

If you alarm keeps ringing and don't get up, will piss people off also.

For me, sometime we are just given 3 to 5 minutes to run up to our bunk before light out after Routine Order. So we totally do not have time to bath and have to do it illegally in the middle of the night.

Clothes will be issued as per standard protocol. Jus follow the link or instructions by ur sgt.

Powerbanks should be allowed. As for phone chargers (those with cable) should be cannot cos they scared u charge overnight then catch fire or smth.

Undergarments best is bring more than 1 week supply. Better safe than sorry. As for washing, sure got enuff time one. Even half an hour admin time also can shower while washing clothes (yes, got legends can do these simultaneously!!). Washing machine is have but not allowed to use by recruits so no need care.

Bring in coins cos vending machine should be allowed to buy as long as Sgt say OK. Canteen break should be no no during BMT. Once in Unit, even training (or OJT) phase shd be can liao.

Locks are issued (during my time, at least.. i ORD this year so still quite fresh). Its a number lock that works pretty well. iirc, u are allowed to bring it home after BMT =)

P.s bring power bank first when u enlist. Tbh u dont have much time to use phone also so a fully-charged powerbank shd be good enuff to last. For those cable phone charger, ask ur sgt if can.

P.s #2 if u think at night no time to do laundry or wat not, jus YOLO and wake up earlier then others. i had batchmates waking up at 4.30 jus to do laundry/take a dump etc. its all part of ur mindset and how u manage ur time.

Hope this helps~

The whole thing is that they are afraid you will trip the breaker. If everyone in the bunk brings in a phone charger Zander plugs them in all at the same time, it can trip the breaker.

There was once during my training we were ironing our uniforms, and the breaker tripped, so....

Sometimes the 15-30 minutes is meant for bathing.

Are you in enhanced or PTP batch?
