Security Solutions Engineer
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning of the enterprise security infrastructure comprising of local area network, wide area network, intranet and internet.
• Maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure and network security such as routers, switches, IPS and firewalls. Takes charge of changes in network-computing infrastructure and ensuring that hardware maintenance and support programme are in place. Co-ordinate modification, repair and preventative maintenance work for clients.
• Responds to all reported issues from clients and coordinate between vendors for quick resolution.
Requirements
• Good honours degrees in Information Technology, computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Good working knowledge in at least Two of the following technologies :
- TCP/IP standards and networking technology
- Network switches, CISCO routers and Firewall
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory/ LDAP
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Firewall Administration
- IPS/IDS Administration
- SIEM/Log Management Solutions Administrations
• Good understanding of network topologies, protocols and network security including firewall technologies, intruder detection systems and protection against malware/virus attacks/APTs.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining LAN and WAN infrastructure and security solutions.
