I completed my postgrad degree, CISSP and CISA all while working shift. Its not a problem, its an excuse.

Graduated from postgrad in Jul, completed cissp in Oct and then cisa in Dec. All in the same year....

As long as you are willing to work shifts, there are definitely positions.

If you are studying, you should work out with your employer. If you can't, don't bother until you complete your studies.

IT Security positions is either 24 by 7 or on standby 24 by 7, like almost all IT jobs.

This is the life of any IT personnel. Don't say you don't know.

Security monitoring jobs?? what qualifications u need for these jobs??? can suggest some places to look?

e-Cop is one of them.

Financial institutions may have... but I haven't seen any postings...

Some very big companies have as well, but unlikely you will just do purely monitoring.

Government may have, but it's not where you think it is. :D

ST and NCS also have.

Entry-level security and security monitoring jobs typically falls under their "managed services" department.

No offense but looks fishy to me. Email address given is private/personal email. What's more local degree grads no need apply? Never before seen a job advert specifically states that they reject local degree grads.

How about providing some basic information? :s11:

  • What's the job responsibility?
  • Which company?
  • Working hours (shift or normal office hours)?
