I am trying to time the opening of ELASTIQ with the end of the month when UOB One gets nerfed. Is the account opening instant? If so I can wait until next Friday to open. TIA!

yes it is (provided insurer dont fail)

if insurer fails, however, the SDIC PPF protection for SaveV is quite different to Elastiq. For the first 3 years, the surrender value of SaveV is lower than the total premiums paid.

for 26k, i get $1.27 interest per day ... which works out to be around 1.78x% pa

u can use the above to pro-rate based on your principal amount or let us know what is it ?

Yes, I get the same ard 1.78x% but shouldn't it be 1.8%?

think need to consider a longer period for interest to accumulate, and compounded to get to 1.8%pa

for me it's close enuf
