Getting more and more complex, not sure should still input or not?

go with Elastiq

it has flexibility to hold 1 year or up to 3 years, fully protected etc

for 1 year, the EIR is not bad (including the 30 cash + 55 vouchers) via PolicyPal

if u prefer the Etiqa credit, can also buy Elastiq direct, using a Etiqa referral to get 0.5% premium rebate for future insurance purchases (ie 50k = 250 credits)

For Elastiq, after 3 years, can pull out every $$? If yes, how to? I re-read the T&C but it was not clearly mentioned; maybe I missed out.

This product has a maturity of 3 years, so the money will be returned to you. I assume they will cut a cheque ?

Also, can do partial withdrawal :

"You are now able to do partial withdrawal via TiqConnect after 90 calendar days. A nominal service fee would apply if your average daily Account value for the policy month falls below S$5,000."

For mine, I intend to just hold 1 year, then see if other options available.

For Elastiq, I can technically top up a big sum (e.g. $100k) on the last day of the 90 days lock up period and that top-up amount will then accrue interest at the prevailing rate which is currently 1.8% with the flexibility of withdrawal anytime right?

If I withdrawal subsequently, will Etiqa first withdraw from my initial premium (1.8% guaranteed 3 years) or my subsequent top-up (prevailing rate)?

Is there any minimum lock in period for Elastiq apart from the 90 days?
Lets say I do for 1 year, can I withdraw from the policy wholesomely without penalty or admin charges? And do I need to state tenor upon signing up?
Thanks.

There is a bonus right? if u dun do withdrawal ? in that sense would u recco to keep throughout the 3 years?

yes there is

"A non-guaranteed loyalty bonus, equivalent to 0.3% of the average monthly Account value for the past 36 Policy months, will be credited
into the Account value at the end of the 3rd Policy year and at every subsequent 3 Policy year interval (6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th Policy year
and so on), ..."

so, essentially, it's an additional 0.1% pa non-guaranteed if held for complete 3 years

Below part is the "hard to understand" portion.
An illustration table will be best to explain further if we get back how much.

Full Surrender
Upon full surrender, we will pay the surrender benefit in one lump sum which is equivalent to the Account value, less any amounts owing to us. You may request for a full surrender any time after the free look period.[/QUOTE]

To all,

No referral code request, or giving referral code, nor PM requests or giving of referral.
Due to requests from the public to administrator to remove all personal links.

Thank you.

PS: a few seniors are at the limit where if infraction points are given, it would lead to a ban. Please help us by not spreading referral limits. thank you.

Think best to ask Etiqa if can use the rebate for Maid insurance. I think can but have never done it myself.

Since you see it, share with others here where you got this piece of information.
Update your Tiq app to latest version and login, then you'll see.

2% p.a. guaranteed for 1 year, maximum 10k. After 10k don't know.
