anyone find the browser to access My Etiqa (TiqConnect) very unreliable?

I almost always have to login twice to be successful. And the pages will often go blank and I have to reload the page again. or it'll show loading with the circle going round and round... and I'm forced to reload.

using Edge and Chrome... same issues.

Yup the web portal doesn't seem very stable. I use the app and it seems ok so far.

How does this work in terms of the interest? Does interest get credited every month and then the interest (1.8%, yes?) gets compounded if there is no withdrawal? Or does the interest credited earn a lower % than the original deposit/premium paid?

If compounded, better to leave it in the account/policy. If not, can one withdraw it, saying using FAST?

I understand from the SingLife thread that it works like a bank account with interest credited every month which can then be withdrawn by FAST. And that any amount in the account above S$10K earns not 2.5% but 1%.

Same interest rate apply on whole account value, results in a 1.8% p.a. compounded interest rate for the first three years.

ELASTIQ vs Singlife !

Am I right to say, Both are flexible withdrawals and daily interests ?

So if I have $200K and intended to save for 3 years, it is better to top up ELASTIQ account since the interest is 1.8% for full balance amount vs Singlife (2.5% on first $10K and 1% on balance $190K) ?

just put 10k in singlife, and $190k in whatever else that is the next better one.

Oh I see, so 1.8% is the compounded interest rate p.a. assuming that all monthly interest is redeposited back into the account and not withdrawn.

as promised, I paid out the first batch of $10 gifts for those who took my offer

later batches to come as my awards get confirmed by PP

Etiqa has stopped the SmartSave promo, so now no more $100 ... however, I believe these would be offered later

I see now policypal’s NDP 2020 promo is 55 capland voucher and 30 Policypal credit for 50k and above

Sorry if I ask silly question.
I've placed 75k FD with Maybank and have SDIC protection, if put another 75k with Elastiq still protected under SDIC? Maybank and Etiqa are considered different company right?
