Seem like there is a new plan gigantic, 2% for $10k, anyone know more details?

According to the t&c, there is a small "catch".. 70 cents & 50 cents for partial withdrawal AND surrender request via paynow & dbs respectively

I would go with dash easyearn unless u have maxed it out or if u buy their other forms of insurance

Yes very similar, but easy earn has no fee for surrender request and withdrawal into dash wallet

Find it quite funny why they pushing out all these small products. Dunno what's their goal.

Anyway, total protection for all products (Elastic, Dash EasyEarn) under Etiqa is how much again? $100k?

100k surrender value.. hope SDIC will raise the protection limit.. or other insurers will come up with similar liquid savings plan... seems like only Etiqa (and singlife) are more innovative

withdrawal is immediate
1) to your paynow registered with NRIC number or,
2) to your DBS/POSB account linked to elastiq

Hi all, someone recommended to me Elastiq for high liquidity endowment/savings plans.

I did read more about elastiq here: https://www.theastuteparent.com/2019/01/elastiq-by-etiqa/
https://thekiamsiaplife.com/saving-with-etiqa-elastiq-feat-mr-kiam-siap/

But just wanna know your thoughts on if its really a good plan to have thanks!
Most of us here finds it to be good but u have to decide if the product suits your current need.

With the flexibility to withdraw after 90 days and in this current climate where the bank rates are low, worth a look

The tiq website has a bit more information on gigantiq

2% for 1 year up to 10K
1% for 1 year above 10K

The 2% consists of guaranteed 1% p.a. + 1% p.a. bonus for first policy year, available on a first come, first served basis.

hmm for those with Elastiq probably simpler and better to just top up. too much hassle to maintain another account/policy to get 2% for 10k only...2% only for 1 year also..
gigantiq got charges for withdrawal

"A transaction fee of S$0.70 and S$0.50 will be charged for each partial withdrawal or surrender request via PayNow or Direct Credit – POSB or DBS account respectively."

For the referral promotion, is the 0.5% rebate convertible to cash? Thinking whether to bite the bullet for ELASTIQ now given that RHB has also cut interest rates.

Thanks both! Can I confirm that the SDIC limit per company is S$100k? So if I already have S$20k in Dash EasyEarn, my remaining limit is S$80k?

Hi, the Elastiq referral I believe cannot use for cash, but can be used for other insurance - e.g. home insurance.

Alternatively, if you want cash, you may consider applying via policypal (offer ends today):
https://www.policypal.com/endowment-plans/flow/tiq/elastiq

I just registered via policypal and received an email from policypal asking me to make payment via FAST or PayNow. It's safe to follow the instruction to make payment right?

After making payment, how soon will I be able to view my policy under Tiq by Etiqa app? TIA!
