iPhone X TIP: You can disable double power button click for Apple Pay in order to get rid of the delay when locking your screen.

Go to Settings -> Wallet & Apple Pay -> Disable Double Click Side Button

Settings>Control Centre>Customize Controls> add the Wallet option. Tapping that in control center does the same thing and allows you to ready up your card

now you know why the lag when locking your screen.

Just curious, for apple pay, still need to bring out wallet before it can work?? Or still need to double tap?

I thought can just bring close to the terminal and face id and everything is done?

then liddat not safe right? if you are using your phone and it is closed to a NFC reader. you will unknowingly paid something that you didnt want since Face ID is so fast.

haha good to hear this anker can do fast charge using the lightning to USB-C cable. just expensive combination. plus wireless charger some more. haha

yup. actually a lot more steps.

Touch ID: bring to NFC > thumb to authenticate > done
Face ID: double Tap > face to authenticate (no effort here actually) > bring to NFC > done

so is it really more steps?

before finger print readers, touch ID, we also had to accommodate it

but Touch ID was natural.

the way you hold the phone. jus place thumb over home button and it authenticates.

Face ID liked a totally different thing.
after 1-2 years of press to unlock, now we are back to swipe to unlock.

Think need jailbreak to have dual apps.. Think too much to sacrifice to jump from mi mix to iphone X.. Battery size, screen size, customization, features like dual apps dual windows. No doubt I play with my wife iphone X I find ios quite polish since iPhone 4.. The last iPhone I use..loves the iPhone X camera and build quality.. Maybe shall wait for iPhone X plus with bigger screen..

i doubt it.

the competition will be a camera + additional components to detect depth to map the 3D image of the face.

they will have to work around the registered patents.

and Touch ID is not going away also. coz for twins, Touch ID will be the better choice for them.

Use case?

Think majority andriod phone can.. Got app to do dual apps I think.. Just that miui is built in.. And it is very useful for me.. Can't do wo dual apps.
