Never encountered such issue.

Spotify Community recommended to close all apps in the background. Give it a try and see if it works.

nope. when i lock the screen, the lock screen sound just get overlapped with music only..

probably full sized in cloud but optimized on your device to save space, you can still download it back and consume storage, not very sure how it works as i read about it but have yet to subscribe to additional iCloud storage.
