You can actually set privacy setting for notification so that it won’t show the content before unlocked.

With FaceID then the notification content will only show when you actually looking at the phone.

you mean it just unlocks and stays at the lock screen ? that would be just like waking the screen, right ? you can already see the notifications when the screen is awake..

But this video also shows u need to bring the phone up to a certain level to unlock. I guess u can't really unlock ur phone below the table now. No phone in meeting/classroom anymore

It was rumoured that next year's iPhones will be all OLED and will sport 5.85" and 6.46" screens. There will also be an update to the current X which was said to have a larger screen.

So I presume next year's successor to the X will have the 6.46" OLED screen.
