Those who want super large screens might consider note 8.

Again, to each his own. Sure i love the big screen on my 6S+ but its really quite bulky esp when im in jeans. Shoving it in & out the jeans pocket is a nightmare esp when seated. Office pants still not so bad.

So for me i dont mind a SLIGHTLY smaller screen.

Tink mate 10 16:9 ratio screen is the biggest. The rest 18:9 like v30, mate10 pro just makes it taller. Samsung’s mostly 18.5:9 so appear even taller although screen area smaller than 16:9

Realized Siri is much better now.. can detect our Singlish accent plus autocorrect it. Have not used it since iOS 9.

For Face ID, if it fails to scan the correct face, it goes to passcode entry immediately? Anyway to get it to retry automatically at least once?

I keep accidentally touching (and smudging) the rear camera. Think it’s got to do with the rear camera being placed vertically rather than horizontally.

Yes, if you're looking at the phone when your device is ringing. The volume is lowered.

Thanks! I just chatted with Apple Support and apparently this is a new feature called "Attention Aware Features" which we can enable or disable it in setting.

So far only OCBC works with FaceID and fully optimised for the UI of the X, the rest of the banking all either got black top and bottom bar, still shows as TouchID under setting and some only have feature PIN login.

Also almost all the googles services app (gmail, inbox by gmail, docs, sheets, slides and analytics) are not optimised for the iPhone X.

give them some time to catch up

Double check anyone can confirm on dbs/ posb app can’t use faceid? On mine the touchid functionality isn’t even listed there

Note 8 screen is longer. Play those demo games can see that the game screens are actually stretched longer.

Confirmed not working. The option isn't even there now same on nine.

UOB is working even though they never update the app. Tested.
