AH! Now that you mentioned, yesterday i was fiddling around with the color tint after seeing some comments here.
I went back to OFF the color filter and its back to normal! Not exactly pure white but at least now i know why suddenly my screen became unbearably yellowish when initially I was OK with it.


Gonna cancel my genius appointment. All is well!

I posted the ‘colour tint’ adjustment yesterday. It seems that if you do adjustment using the hue slider, THEN turn off the True Tone, the screen will change to white, albeit a warmer white. The old retina screens are whiter.

with HEIF and HEVC, photos etc should take up less bytes. Anyone tried and noticed? How about sending out photos as attachment or what's app, any issues with sending out or the receiving party cannot open?

Noticed that the photo size is about 9MB+ each when I was uploading to OneDrive.

dun look like burn in. seems more like the blur effect wen you wipe up the control panel.

Realised that when my auto brightness up to 50% theres a ghost static of striaght lines on both side of my phone, with and without TT. Is it normal? Or consider screen burn in?

Comparing 7+ with X, indeed the stereo speakers is louder, clearer and slightly more bass! When using phone without stereo speakers it just feel so weird, very hard to explain.

Not sure if it's just me. Everything seems louder. Even the ringing volume is louder when set to the same level on the 7 Plus. AirPods is also louder for the same volume settings.

Yea I feel it too. Using my wf-1000x feels louder on my iPhone X than the 7+

ya. i think so. my alarm more louder than my 7+ and ipad pro 10.5.

got a scared when alarm on my x first time ring.

My alarm doesn't even make noise on iOS 11.1

Yes I heard that too from the reviews but ok if you intend to use a case. Anyway I bought space grey as I like the color

Both will scratch but Silver easier to notice. Can buff it out with compound but must be careful. Went with space grey for the Smokey look on the steel bands

Normally I just swipe it away to save it.

it shows the bottom left card at first but now..whenever I use the combination buttons not showing. just the screenshot is showed in my photos.

Agree on that, everything is just louder. I put ringtone vol3 on X while ringtone vol5 on my ip7+.

Just realised that more than half my songs are gone from my phone. Guess something must have screwed up when i backed up to itunes on my mac. Anyone know how i can restore them?

songs r not included in e backup. u must resync yr media.

Just finished my Genius Bar appointment for yellowish tint on screen. Apparently the staff were briefed today about the OLED issue and were instructed to check for distinct yellow vertical lines across the screen. Only then can they do a replacement for you. The specialist ran a series of diagnostic tests on my phone to check the responsiveness and sensitivity. After that she said nothing wrong with my phone. I went to look at their demo sets and their screens seem similar to mine. Went to iStudio to look as well and their set seems less yellowish.

Oh well guess I'll stick to my current phone as it isn't that bad :/

Screen looks perfectly fine without True Tone when compared to my 7plus, Note8, monitor, etc.. However the True Tone is yellowish. If anyone here drops by Apple Store, do let them know of this over yellowish tint issue..
