Thanks TruBeliever_jh. This is one of the BEST tip I have seen so far. My FaceID now has equal or even better success rate than TouchID.

I’m using an Anker 24w wall charger and it charges quite quickly. Will USB C PD be worth the additional cost and gear?
Does full tg causes this?
Swipe up. Habit from android daysDo you guys swipe up to kill all background apps? Or just leave it to iOS to do its thing?
IOS will force close apps if it needs more memory..these days ram is very battery efficient.

More apps open means eat more ram means eat more battery. No? Unless there are too many apps open then some are forced close by ios.

Actually iOS doesn’t really multitask the way android does. The app doesn’t really run in the background but instead goes into suspend mode. What happens is the background functionality is handed off to iOS’s APIs which handle stuff like background audio, navigation, VOIP, etc.
When there is insufficient memory for new apps, iOS will then close any suspended app which has no background task. This happens very rapidly as iPhones have fast NVMe NAND flash storage.
Hence force closing apps which are suspended doesn’t really save battery at all and will use more if you frequently re-open the app as everything needs to be reloaded and restarted.
Some apps do take advantage of the framework to avoid being force closed. Facebook, YouTube and Baidu Maps are all known to play silent audio to avoid being forced close. If you check your battery stats, you’ll see the app reported as background task, audio.

How did you get the percentage? I do not have it on my iPhone X on iOS 11.1.1
App optimization.
Guess apps need some catching up

If your background app uses location surely that drains battery life no?10 plus background apps can make device feels 'slow'

What about games? And known huge battery drain apps like Facebook, instagram twitter? You guys dont kill games and those apps?
