Put on facial mask only 20-30mins. If renfred bro can’t unlock by Face ID then type password lor. True to that, we don’t put on facial mask evd.

i'm referring to surgical mask.

due to work requirement, i'm always on surgical mask and i'm always on the phone for communication of work purposes. So face ID unlock is kinda meh to me and i always need to wait a second or 2 for the failed face ID to trigger pin unlocking...

You can swipe up and tap on the “Face ID” word to straightaway trigger to enter the passcode, no need to wait for Face ID to fail.

Is there a way to make purchases in the App Store without double clicking the side button? Like maybe a soft key or something? What happens if the side button beomes spoilt? Does that mean we can’t make purchases anymore?

Then go repair the side button first before you make the purchase.

Once you've used an iPhone X for a while, the iPhone 8 felt like a gadget from yesteryear. Those top and bottom bezels felt out of place.

Same as making payment using apple watch, but iphone 6,7,8 don't need to press any button, just use the finger. Hope in the future iOS update will have better options for users.

without the double click, the phone will always be authenticated as long as you look at it.

so when the situation you have double thoughts and don't wanna make the purchase?
or the purchase amount is incorrectly keyed in?
or you actually don't intend to make a purchase at McDonald's but you just happened to be using your phone near the terminal?

the side button is okayish solution i feel since your thumb/finger is already there when you are holding the phone.
