Staying at some ulu places near grand palace
cox managed book 4* hotel nearby there at 11sgd per nite for two w breakfast
usual about 80+ sgd

then we used grab ...
for about 20min, still no people wanna fetch us ...

the hotel provided shuttle van, however only two timings to mbk ...
so bo bian have to take cab ...

no cab come into our hotel ...
we walked to main road
mostly either no want , or quote us 250b ...
finally after the 5th cab, we managed to bargain to 170b ...
took around 45min to reach paragon ...
if no jam, 20min reach already ...

I find that grab has slowed down a lot in bkk. Earlier this year I had no problems getting grabcar but during my recent trip it either no cars or more than 10 mins away kind.

For hotels I will still pick those near bts/mrt ones. Got cabs/grab is bonus, if not at least still got public transport.

Now that you mentioned, I did not see many PRC tourists when I was in CM in Oct. Thought it was just because of low season.

During oct, there should be alot of tourist due to their hoilday week.

CM I don't think it good for biz but good for a retirement plan. Fresh air, nicer people also. LOL

Appreciate this kind of stuff hard to say also. Cannot believe those agencies promise to yield certain percentage after 5-10yrs. I not very sure on CM market. But for Phuket market is shrinking on the property. If you i were you, buy one in bangkok/Phuket then rent out. Stay in Wife/Gf house.

Recently i spent alot of my time reading/camping on teakdoor.com

I found out that some farang/angmo manage to bulit a house 180m2 for less than 500k thb which equivalent to 20k sgd.

Got a idea to purchase a cheap cheap chanote land in phuket, put under my company name. Bulit villa and sell to angmo / chinese market.

Normally if the condo sell by developers. They normally provide all in one service. Service include renting out, take care of your house and so on.

Oh, I did not know that.
Do you know how much they charge for these services?

I was initially thinking of renting via AirBnb or short/long lease and my gf can pop over to help clean the room or change linen if required.
But if got such services and charges are reasonable it will be very convenient
