wah tt means diff atm diff rates?

ok bro, i just walked abit far to find a Bank of Taiwan ATM to withdraw money and indeed it is THIS BANK's atm that gives super gd rate with NO FEE for Trust card.
i just withdraw twd3k and the rate is 22.805!!

Did you use the currency exchange ATM or just the normal ATM?

There are 2 types at the airport. Both are ATMs but offer different services and rates.

That could be the reason why.

i mentioned i used that green logo atm in a mall. not airport.
after that i used another one in Ximen Mtr Stn and another in xmd streets, all suck. say wanna charge twd100.

just went arcade and saw best rate there is 21.88

That means can only use the purple BOT liao.
Green Cathay not good for your use.

i used Cathay Bank ATM to withdraw twice and they don't show me the rates.... Just straightaway dispensed the cash.... and i will check the rate against the card's app....

so have you check? what's the rate for Cathay Bank?

Just FYI~
the fx rate doesn't come frm cathay bank
it comes frm ur card provider.... could be youtrip could be trust
so if you are seeing the exchange rate at the ATM, you shld be choosing something wrong that resulted in cathay bank doing the forex exchange

no leh, along the streets in xmd 商圈, i remember is 永豐。

outside airport maybe don't have this pink colour lightbox but BoT atm also not purple, is maroon.

yes, and there are ALOT of this bank's atm at the airport.
once u leave airport, become hard to find. those convenient stores and mtr stn one all Cathay Bank or other bank, either lousy rate or wanna charge twd100.

yup, otherwise u gotta search for their location on google map and see where is convenient for you.
There's a Bank of Taiwan branch near ximending. It's about 5-6 min walk from exit 2,
but if you're on the outer side of ximen station, then it could be a 10-15min walk.

i discovered a very good noodle shop while searching for this. I will and must visit the noodle shop again next trip!
