No surcharge but rates will be lower. Probably around 23.4

Hello, so can I confirm that the rate will be somewhere in between Taiwan and Singapore's rates? Cos it sounds like a good idea to just draw when you need in Taipei, to avoid carrying too much cash around and being stuck with too much NTD at the end of the trip too!

Actually since the rate in Taiwan seems to be 0.3 points above that in Singapore (from what I've seen), and I just read on DBS's website that they convert all withdrawal amounts from NTD to USD to SGD, so you can be sure it will definitely be less favourable than Taiwan's rate but quite likely more favourable than Singapore's rate.

Speculating only ar.

exchange rates is like the stock market, up n down everyday.

when i exchanged over counter TW DBS at 23.7, it was 23.3 over ATM, 0.4NT or 1.7% difference. do the math and monitor the rates if it's the amount is worth the effort to you.

:s22:

FYI, i also signed my UOB credit card around the same time and the rate they billed me was 23.15.

So if I were to go to tw dbs to exchange, I just need to bring the cash and my passport will do?
