hello! recently my friend told me. if i changed sgd to usd, then go to taiwan to change to ntd using usd - the rate will be even higher. can anyone confirm this?

also . how do i go to dbs in taiwan? where's the nearest dbs in taipei and how do i get to there? many thanks for the quick reply.

Reply to 2nd para, sun yat sen memorial hall station. A good 5-10mins to dbs bank. Google map dbs bank in taipei, u will get ur directions there.

i'm in taiwan now.. staying at the Jiangzicui MRT station area. which is close to the Banqiao district.. stumbled upon a DBS bank as i was wandering around the area. Outside the bank theres a notice that says Foreign Currency Exchange.. so i guess you can change your SGD there?

Exit from Jiangzicui station Exit no.2, walk straight out from the exit, you will pass by HSBC bank.. walk straight on and you will see a Family Mart.. (sometimes theres a young school girl working there as a cashier. hehe) walk straight on and to your right you shld see a DBS bank...

Yes they do change out for u. But the most centralize area is still the one at zhongxiao east area.

Based on online rates from mustafa n then dbs taiwan, the rates same or simliar. So much hassle change twice. I know if change vietdong, better use sgd to usd to vnd.

Went arcade to see rates today. Highest 23.17 only. I flying to taiwan in June. Considering to go dbs taiwan to change. Saw the rate today at 23.57.

DBS is good but then match the time and ur convenience lor.

Thanks Bro for your advise.. Hmmmm if that is the case i think i change a few hundred in sg first. Then when reach taiwan if the rate is good i change the reminding there. Since my package is tour so a lot thing already cover. I only need to my expense for shopping.. LOL
