Just came back from taiwan. Tried changing at DBS SYS branch. Really convenient, exit come out you'll see the DBS bank there. And there was no 1 there so it was almost hassle free. No surcharge involved as well. My friend didn't try to draw from the ATM there as the staff said there was a charge (though I remember DBS stating that drawing from DBS Taiwan ATMs had none).

On a sidenote, also have 10821NTD to sell at S$465 fast. PM me thanks.

Why go for such lousy rate in sgp. DBS TW rate as at 04/06/13 is $23.757. Not the highest for the past 6mths, but it beats sgp rates hands down!

Some peeps want to save the hassle to make a trip down to DBS taiwan. Or when they reached, it's weekend. So how do you expect people to have sufficient money to last till Monday before a bank trip is made? These are the common probablities why people want to change locally, instead of in Taiwan.
