I not quite understand. I saw the rate in their web is 21.5x now is there any hidden cost? Last time I went change at Taiwan dbs rate was as board rate. Can enlighten me? Thanks a lot

Enlighten you, sure.
21.53*0.99 is what you will get.
A min of 1% or 100ntd whichever will be higher will be charged.
So you decide which is more worthy.
Finding time there to change or do it in the comfort of Singapore while you are going to arcade or chevron to claim the free gift.

Currently on board of arcade or chinatown is about 21.37ntd, no surcharge etc.

Out of airport is free for other banks.
DBS then charges service charges at branch.

By the way, DBS told me TWD is converted to USD first, before to SGD. I compared with direct conversion, the rate isnt much different.
