i think the rates might fall after the confirmation of US budget
but it might oso continue to rise as the current govt need support from china
lower xchange rates will make the china tourists buy more

Changed @23.64 at The Arcade Level 2, middle shop. Ground Level shop facing the MRT is 23.40, Level 2 currency exchange at the front of the escalator and the back, around 23.20 and 23.40. There is this shop, #02-07 that gives $23.64.

I think they function like supermarkets, each shop will have a best rate for a different type of currency, and other currency will be average or above average rate, to even out. this #02-07 US$ rates not the best.

So depends on what currency one is changing, there will be one shop that will be the best rates

Issit enough? Lol.. When i reach there, i need to pay for the remaining of my hotel charges and the driver who i engage for 1 day tour.. and i plan to shop till i drop! If me and my bf bring 1.5k each issit too much or should i lower my budget, abit worry that we might not make use of all the money and need to bring back to sg..

Maybe abit more cos still need to pay the 50% for my jiufen minsu and 70% for the cityinn stay..

Most of the time i dont buy much since my key objective is to get out of sg and take some pictures there..gf wise, she will spend wisely..Then we full f&E, no drivers also..All public..

Last year, we change 1k for shopping, transport, food and all the blah blah blah..Still got abit to eat 1 plate of chicken rice and drinks at the airport before departure..
