I am flying off on Friday morning and haven't pack my luggage yet. So thinking should i just skip all the hassle of traveling to Suntect/Arcade and just change straight at Taoyuan.

me wld personally prefer to change everything at sg 1st, juz me though as i wana settle all the admin stuff here den reach tw enjoy...how much u looking to change?

Should i just change abit here then go to Taoyuan to change? I will be arriving at Taoyuan around 6pm on Friday, will the money changer close already by then? Today i went to Chinatown and ask the rate, 22.4. It's going down..

Just change at ICBC(Megabank) at Taoyuan...Their rates always slightly better than SG highest..My trip back in Oct, i change about 600 in SG due to the high rates of 23.6, during that time Taoyuan was offering the same rates..Change another $400-500 when i reach Taoyuan, higher than SG rates by 20c..

Taking SG @ 22.4 and ICBC @ 22.68, SGD$1k =
SG - 22400(The last time i change at the Arcade, they didnt have small hundred notes..All in thousands)
ICBC - 22680 - $30(Admin fee) = 22650
Difference - 22650 - 22400 = 250(This amt is gd for 2 one way tickets on kuo guang bus to Taipei Main Station )

where to change $$$ at taoyuan airport? which money changer you all recommend there?....

ICBC rates would be slightly higher than BoT..

Nt much difference thou, money changer(ICBC) on the way out before immigration check at taoyuan t1..Just a few more mins only..

Landing at T1, then i am rushing to take HSR to Taichung already.
Going for 8D7N, will be going SML, Yehliu, Jiufen, Wulai, Danshui. Accommodation already settled.

Haha, my gf wants to go see the scenery. Actually i did visited SML couple of years back with my school. It's nice just to admire the view.

Usually would be higher by at least by 20c as compared to local rates..
