When you reach airport, there are 2 places to change. 1 is before exiting immigration area, the other is after the phone shop. They have a service charge if I'm not wrong.

In Taipei, I also went over to Bank of Taiwan near Zhong Shan station to do some money exchange. They didn't charge any service charges there.

2 weeks back, the banks rates were pretty high 24+... then I thought it takes some time for the money changer to change their rates... but now it seems like it keeps dropping...

My trip is end October.. do you think the rates will go up to at least 23 then?

The main reason for the strong SGD is due to surge of funds from US and EU into Asian Currency, especially SGD , and MAS allowing SGD to touch 1.20/1. Now that the funds are pulling out of asia back into the US/EU, thus SGD is falling. SGD should still be falling further

Just brought NT$6300 from gentoro @ SGD$270..

Seems like Megabank rate is better at least..Gonna change the last of my SGD over at TPE instead..Lazy to run around SG for rates..
