Just changed at chinatown one of the popular money changer 30mins ago ..

Exchange rate is 0.0441501 / 22.65

Felt tt it's rather low but just changed most of it anyway as I'm leaving tml and I heard tt not alot of money changer accept sgd in Taiwan except a few banks..

With the administrative fees, supposed the exchange rates differ by 0.3-0.5 twd (say 22.6 compared to 23.0), it will only be worth if one changes above 500sgd... usually how much will you change if you go there for 7 days?

Just checked yesterday arcade is giving me 26.67 highest is 22.67 Sigh. So low!

Another 2 weeks till my trip and I'm still hoping rates will increase.

23.03 currently at taoyuan icbc..

taking SGD$500 as the amt which you wana change,
Arcade 22.67x500 = $11335(And the bad thing is they usually dont have small notes so will give u an exchange to 11k or the nearest thousand)
Taoyuan 23.03x500-30NT(admin) = $11485

actually I can't quite understand why do people change their TWD in Singapore instead of Taoyuan when the rate has always been better over at Taoyuan? There must be something that I'm not getting???
