The majority of us r discussing abt which place r having a high ex rate for SGD to NT.How abt NT to SGD?

Have anyone try to exchange their leftover NT at DBS TW?From the Tw website they dont seem to accept NT.Our current local DBS rate is 100NT : 4.2489 SGD

i curious why DBS taiwan offer so high rate for Singapore dollar?

Because they do not charge commission on some countries currency which include SGD. This is what I saw when I was at DBS TW

Simple case of supply and demand, isn't it?

In Taiwan, supply of NTD > SGD. So rates for SGD --> NTD very good.

In Singapore, supply of SGD > NTD. So rates for NTD --> SGD better.

There are quite a handful in Taiwan itself. See which one is nearer to you. Remember there is no Handling Charges if you change in DBS Taiwan

Problem is i arrive Sat afternoon, then Monday going to Hualien and return Wed evening.
Earliest can change at DBS TW is Thursday, that's like last 3 days liao.
And also need money for 1st 5 days.

Hualian seems does not have any DBS. Are you changing alot? If not might as well change in SG. Alternative, you can change abit here in SG/Taoyuan Airport and rest in DBS.

As for changing in Taoyuan Airport, choose Maga bank instead of Taiwan bank as the rates are slightly better but take note of the 30NT handling fees.
