Depends on where you stay. Nearest to taichung is ming wuan branch but not accessible even if you are at the mainstation. Go to the 中港分行。there more easily accesible than ming quan

Actually from what I know that in Taipei, money changing isn't legalized.thats why u hardly find money changer, only bank does that. And u need to sign and let them filled some forms.

So it's quite troublesome if u changing little amount

confirm free, but the exchange rate you'll get will not be as good as over-the-counter exchange.

Wah bro. Same hotel. Last night in taichung though. From plaza hotel to zhong gang branch can take 106 and 168. Around 20 mins ride. Going there to exchange tomorrow morning before checking out. Have fun!

Go feng qia nm got alot of bus but the counter zeh zeh recommended me to take bus 35 and 6268. Both this bus you can take at the taichung bus station. Alight at fengqia university, fuxing road for the night market. Will see macdonalds.

Just exchanged money at zhong gang branch. Rate for sgd to ntd is 23.628, much better than all the money changer in singapore. Zeh zeh over the counter also very friendly, could have chatted longer if i wasn't rushing for time.
