currency rates here real sucks,planning to change at the airport.
anyone know what time the currency counter open.

If worry the counter is not opened for your arrival, i will suggest or advise you to change a little here first.
This will be good for you.

1% or min 100 by dbs.
Withdrawal some said based on Taiwan rates... Unsure but now the card is not working there as they mentioned earlier due to upgrade.

My friend checked DBS online rate is 22.91 on the spot but the bank pax said it is 22.78 (Taipei)..

Btw, what is the meaning of spot buy/ sell in BOT and MegaBank rate web? How is it difference with cash buy/ sell?

Spot rate is not applicable to us common changer..So just forget about that..

The settlement price (or rate) is called spot price (or spot rate). A spot contract is in contrast with a forward contract or futures contract where contract terms are agreed now but delivery and payment will occur at a future date.

That is between banks etc etc...So did ur fren check spot or cash rates and also buy or sell column?

We as tourist etc etc will see cash rate..That's is cash terms..

As a tourist in Taiwan, we see their Cash(Buy)..They are buying in your foreign currency in exchange for that countries currency.

As a sinkie in singapore, we see the changer Cash(Sell)..They are selling foreign currency in exchange for the local currency..

Not sure if she was reading the correct column, but I thought online will be accurate according to some previous posts

For me, I saw cash buy was 22.54 online but KHH airport rate showed 22.72 instead I read the lowest rate online though.

So good or not???

It's a gauge, info does not refresh as fast as the board on the spot for online..

Just changed at the 24 h bank of Taiwan Monet exchange Tao.yuan airport.

22.43 today.

The mega bank put 12am to 9pm. I think they should put , it's 12pm-9pm. Lol
