Update live from taoyuan. Mega at 22.59, -30twd fee. BOT at 22.53, I saw at the departure hall written that fee is twd100. Not sure if it applies to all.

Just a rough idea for those wanting to change TWD.
arcade now is 22.57.

I changed some sgd at taiwan bank 臺灣銀行 at 22.56 no further commission

So it does make sense not to change all in singapore.. but only some banks accept SGD and is limited to the bank opening hours.

Usd hkd and jpy is widely accepted with narrower spreads though.

Rates at kaoshiung airport was same as arcade too.

Seriously if you are changing less than S$5000, doesn't matter...

if you are changing a lot , then airport is better choice , that 0.5 will make difference of NT$500 per 10K NT$.

NT$500 is good for 10 bowls of braised pork rice or a dinner for 2 at a decent place...

I think you meant 0.5 make a difference of NT$500 per S$1,000.

But somehow, I think the difference should be 0.05.

Based on the current posted rate, Arcade Money Changer is actually 0.05 better than Megabank and there is still a need to pay commission for Megabank.
