But any ICT bros here managed to exchange their old frontier boots to the new boots already? (can exchange if ur boots was purchased within 2 years)

You will need to produce the receipt as proof of purchase within last 2 years, have checked before with e-mart

Was informed by emart auntie, now if frontier boots crocodile u can do exchange, regardless of date of purchase. This just started 20 feb 17.

Any1 got any other info or source? Previously must have bought within a certain date right?

Last time I kept a spoilt pair of old Gortex boots just for this reason - the exchange was for...

So now this Frontier also spoilt... been keeping it also just waiting for them to come out with exchange instructions, but that one was so ridgid - have to be within last 2 years and with receipt - I did 1 to 1 exchange last time where got receipt!

If the exchange policy updated to no receipt needed...

But the new boots are not say that fantastic either - the sole between the heel and forefoot is quite thin, not sure how good it is especially on hard, rocky ground.

last time encouraged us to change one was them, give us defective boots also them, then now set a time condition for us to exchange....how can?? worst, my older boots (full leather, tag inside just says ST Logistic) also cui like the Frontiers. can't rmb when i bought this pair...

currently from my platoon group chat, my PC also say must be purchased within 2 years. hopefully this is old news that he got when he went back for pre-ICT commanders briefing. pray that the above arrangement has taken effect. regardless i will go to the emart and let them hear my opinion.

today just bought strong glue from hardware store to glue the sole back. will use my brother's size 10 (i'm a 8) as standby

at my last ICT, someone voiced to Brigade Comdr (during visit) about boots open mouth. big problem bcos unit going for deployment.

BC asked battalion to consolidate for boot exchange.

Big hoohah ... G4 chase S4, S4 chase RSM, RSM chase CSMs, CSMs chase PS to compile numbers' submitted list

a few days later, unit say not exchange but emart credits will be deducted

LPPL ... in the end, no one "exchange"

Dont wait til ICT bcos no one in your unit will know or can decide.

Either send email via NS Portal to ask (your relevant Div Admin Staff will reply) or go down to E-mart.

Went to Mt Faber to exchange, no issues. The staff just record the exchange.

The emart staff didn't even take it out of the plastic bag... she just checked the inside label.

It's too soon to tell but i hope it wont have the same problem if not have to waste alot of unnecessary credits on boots.

Just completed my ICT. Several of my mates exchanged their Frontier "crocodile" boots for the new boots. Next day, all complain of blisters, sole very slippery and less cushioning compared to Frontier. If you pick the new boot up, you will notice that it is very flimsy.

I'm sticking to my Frontier for as long as possible.......

Shld bring back the gen 2 leather boots. Durable and when seasoned really nice to wear (though heavy).
