Exchange their frontier boots

The new wellco boots are completely useless. Neither water proof, nor cushioning, nor have adequate ankle support, with poor grip. Blisters and broken skin plenty on first wear. And no one carrying altama boots. Really waste time.

Ok just got mine exchange, lucky no need credits. But auntie made sure it is indeed crocodiled then can exchange. It's the wellco boots, no altama from the few emarts I went during ict.

Other than the inside slippery/grip issue, happy to report no blisters from walking and bites at the side of the ankles.

Also, anybody here finds the bootlace stopper don't hold the laces tight enough? Or is it me using the ball shaped stoppers from the frontiers instead of the default one? I find the default one very filmsy, so I retained the ball ones from the frontiers and replaced...

Yea it's quite lame that they wanna see crocoodiled before exchanging. seen some ppl deliberately spoiling the boots. shouldnt be difficult

I changed my 4 year old frontier at my recent ICT (March) to the new wellco boots. They suck, stiff and lack of cushioning. Blisters within 2 days of wearing. Can't imagine go outfield in that boots.

But thankfully can change. I due to MR in April, and I have no credit left. Last ICT in December they insist that only can change within 2 years. The soles of my boots gave way on the first day of my recent ICT.

My goretex boots still going strong. Crocodiled but cobbler sewed it up & its good as new.

the initial 3 batchs of goretx were the good ones.... the ones made in 2005 onwards were made with inferior materials as mindef cut cost and used cheaper ingredients to make the sole.

so i assume you are saying the **** batch are those from 2005 onwards??

Is the one for one exchange still on-going in e-marts?

My frontier boots sole can start to feel it's coming off but the exterior looks ok. Thinking of just ripping it apart if they think it is not damaged enough.

Just changed today at The Chevrons. Ask one of the staff and she reply whether this is first ict. I say NO then she say ok. Exchanged immediately and fill some forms but only Wellco type available only.

That's great. Having low key ICT now and come back after first day and realised the soles like coming off. Crappy boots man, only used 2 ICTs or so.
