Fairprice Slogan - here to make lives better. Means what ah? maybe it means buy if u thing u can afford.

Market stalls fish, veg and meat may not be cheaper. In fact, it can be more expensive. Why people still go to market to buy is because of freshness and personal service. Can get the parts of meat u want and can buy small portion. Try to buy veg for 2 to cook. U will understand.

Reminds me of alien building better worlds slogan.

Hopefully they dun go into biotechnology or etc in the future.

Local stock the basic range is made in india, the.very expensive range made in uk. Those parallel import shops some is made in india too, some made in thailand which was local stock source before changed to made in india.

iirc ntuc one is GSK sensodyne..for sg market.. that time i got a shock when i see the ntuc one.. almost double the price of venus one

i notice usually is tourist or some rich mainland student that study in Singapore and reside in Singapore.

I always see them in near my house petrol station. I go and pump petrol, they go and shop for groceries, like buy Fresh Milk, Bread, Potato Chips etc...

Those who frequent Venus, please check source and date of expiry/manufacture. I stopped buying from them because DOM for Kerastase shampoos can go as far back as 2023. They also sell samples which are not for sale.
