okay.. so the only way the prevent it is to make it very very dry before cooking?

a quick pat with kitchen towel before sliding it into fats at high temp.

using lower temperature can limit the splattering insofar as the oil will only splatter within the immediate vicinity of the meat.

but what's cooking without the splattering? :s13:

Lost another 2kg s13

Underweight le :(
maybe you eat no enough protein? eat 1g protein per kg LEAN BODY MASS to maintain on a lchf diet. high fats will have a avoid muscle loss. so now to gain back some mass you must eat more than 1g protein per LBM.

when the meat juices start to flow out it will splatter when in contact with the oil too. use lower heat. unless you making Chicharron lol.

frozen thawed meat a lot of water too.

hi.. can I have your views and comments?

My weight didn't go down.. most days.. I ate 60% to 80% of Fats.. no carbs in the form of rice, noodles etc.. only vege, cucumber ....

the highest weight drop is 300gms in one day.. then this morning.. it went back to original weight.... I am quite sad.. I even gave up drinking kopi siew dai...

sample of what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast -Roasted Chicken Drumstick with butter
Lunch - Roast pork from Hawker $5..
Tea - Coffee with cream and around 10gm of butter eaten raw...
Dinner - Roasted Pork belly slices (thinly sliced, those used for steamboat), home cooked vege and home cooked clear chicken soup.

I am careful and no hidden flour in the cooking...

drank nearly 2 litres of water...

Btw.. I bought the air fryer to do all the roasting.. its fantastic and no oil splattering.. just leave it there to cook. one day will try to air fry duck.. haha

weight loss is not always linear.... and weight loss should not be what u look at everyday.

results can be better measured using measuring tape, and visual inspection in the mirror.

because the same weight of lean mass is much smaller than in fats.

and haste makes waste

Got measure your waist? Weight not really a good parameter to begin with.

You eat like a king on a daily basis sia. remember to eat only when hungry, stop when full.
