If they never mention anything about SBF in may, does that mean that SBF is gonna be later? Like Nov?

"To better help flat buyers plan their finances and flat purchase, from this sales exercise onwards, flat applicants who intend to take out an HDB housing loan will also need to produce a valid HDB Loan Eligibility (HLE) letter at the point of booking a flat, HDB said.

- See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/news/singapore/housing/story/hdb-launches-3995-new-bto-flats-first-exercise-year-20150211#sthash.SVmf2b0e.dpuf"

So we need to get the HLE BEFORE applying?

AHG for 5,4,3 rms(Combined income of 5k and below)
SHG for 4 rms and below in non-mature location.

If not apply with parents, still call 3gen?? :s13:

good luck!

Guys, wanna enquire about something.

lets say the price of a 4 room flat is $398000 (403,000 - 5000) where $5000 is the AHG

Downpayment -10%
downpayment option fee - $2000
Remaining is to be paid by CPF - $37800

So the remaining 90% is covered by HDB loan - $358,200

My question is, is there any way to get as much grant as possible?
How much HDB loan am i eligible? If out of $358,200 only a portion is covered by HDB loan, so i presume the remaining balance i have to pay by cash? Or is it possible to get the remaining 90% to be paid fully by HDB loan?

for starters, maybe you should give us a rough estimation of your income or combined income if applying with partner so we can gauge?

You can use this to have a gauge of the max loan HDB will give u, general rule of thumb is minus 10% from the results.

Enquiry on Maximum Loan

If you qualify for 5k AHG only, it means ur combined income is between 4501-5000.. If you ask me unless u have side undeclared income sources, it's probably too much for you..

Taking a 360k loan over 25 years, monthly repayment is $1,634

Taking a combined income of 5k, CPF O/A contribution is $1150
