Hi all, was wondering if there are any inifiniti owners here?

Interested in getting a Q50. Understand that its using Merc engine and merc gearbox.

Any comments on the car? In terms of reliability and quality. I do understand that the resale value may take a hit in future due to the popularity (lack of) of the brand.

But its fairly a "value for money" car currently.

Yes is essentially a C250 engine whereas Q70 same engine as Nissan Teana, weird huh? Q50 not bad indeed quite a lot of features too
But the LoGo hmmm looks abit like a certain "China car brand"

After much consideration, I have chosen Q50 and will collect it tomorrow. Nice car

Go to right consultant, you will get better package with freebie.... Guess better package 1st week of May car show...

Survey at problem/headache faced by previous and existing owner. Test drive, internal and external. Lifestyle and financial match.
Bro..care to share the problems faced be it damage or AD workshop experience rather than just the factors? Cause I'm actually interested in it also :s13:

For me, reliability first. Came from VW.

Based on my budget, i have shortlisted:
1) Lexus IS (Removed from choice due to high cost and very cramp rear).
2) Inifiniti (Shortlisted. Reliability is still ?? because of low population )
3) Mazda 6 2.5NA (everything is good except the drive. NA ultimately still cannot compete with TC cars)
4) Honda 1.5T (Shorlisted because price is attractive, TC engine, looks great, spacious).

What will be your choice amongst the 4?

My concern is actually the parts availability for things like radiator, water pump etc.
I'm not sure if Infiniti is using similar parts to nissan/merc or it is exclusive.
Their rear aircon at the legroom is desirable lol

Exactly. common parts is fine. When something big happens, dunno what will happen also. And to compound the problem, low population means outside workshop usually take parts from Agent. LPPL.
