Guys, maybe just a feedback from my side.

My concern with inifiniti from my own "perceived" the lack of slower moving parts and ?? quality has shifted me away from that car.

And the fact the VW has created such an enjoyable ride with tis 1.4T engine churning out 140BHP / 250NM and i get 18+km/l consistently has swayed my decision as well. The price to performance ratio (not only engine performance but interior quality, sound proofing, tech, etc) is unbeatable. Though their quality issues are also unbeatable.

No one I knew that owns a VW ever said that their drive is no good. Everyone likes the way VW drives and ironically DSG is really such a love hate affair. Like someone mentioned above, you must own it to understand the joy of driving. But while owning it, it causes a lot of pain as well (note: ALOT). So point A point B driver, look elsewhere. I wont recommend it at all even if you mileage is low.

So naturally, I went back to review the cars available in the VAG family again (I do not mean I start looking at lambo / Porsche / Bugatti). This time, a A4 B9. I know it wont be a problematic free drive but its a good balance across everything. If your car is problematic, you need to provide good services. I hope Permium Auto will not be like another VW service department. The 5 years unlimited mileage warranty swayed my decision.
