Dr BJ: Many people are posting KYM threads. This should not be allowed as we are family oriented forum.
Commando: Yes, it is distracting and there are kids visiting the forum.
Keewee: The images are not really obscene, all parts are covered properly. I don't see any issues.
Dr BJ: I don't like that kind of images flooding the forum.
Keewee: I understand your preferences but the images do not contravene ToS as they are pictures available in public domain uploaded by the girls for people to see.
Dr BJ: *block Keewee*
Vulcan: I also think the KYM threads are not good.
Periperi: True. With less KYM threads, users can go back to what's important.
Dr BJ: Who agrees thrashing KYM threads and infracting posters?
Commando: I agree.
Vulcan: Yes, I agree.
Periperi: Yup, me thinks infraction is good.
Keewee: Agree what? Infract what? What just happened??
Dr BJ: Good, let's do it from tomorrow.

The next day, KYM threads get locked and posters get infraction.

Blocking of user from seeing your posts is just forcing censorship upon another person.
If your posts cannot stand up to scrutiny or you just want everyone to agree with you, go to the darkside or request a Group Messaging function and invite those people you like.

I don't see the point of this case study...

"Keewee" responsible for his own content, the admins/mods moderate his content. Any violation will be dealt accordingly...

if other users deemed "Keewee" is a nuisance, it is their personal preference to block him... And "keewee" is minding his own business, I see both parties (Dr BJ and Keewee) have no issue with each other... so this is not a problem at all...

Keewee is a mod leh. You never read properly.. Dr BJ and his team of moderator leh..
Dr BJ blocks Keewee from seeing his views/posts and so Keewee cannot respond/reply/agree/disagree.
So KYM threads get thrashed because there are only "agree", no "disagree".

User J being nuisance and Gordon blocks him.

Gordon is enforcing censorship? No, all Gordon just did was blocked user J. The rest of the whole world just able to view Gordon's content.

So, the arguing of enforce censorship is a failed reasoning.

The rest of the whole world can see Gordon's content, until he blocks the next person.

You go to CNA FB page and posts some comments. CNA FB blocks you.
Is it censorship??

You go to LHL FB page and posts some comments. LHL FB blocks you.
Is it censorship??

You might want to complain the administrators of CNA FB and LHL FB. They will give you the answer why they have to block you...

Also I do not disagree with Batavia King that you may only like hearing the good things.
If you only want to talk to people who agrees with you, then request a Group Messaging function.

However,
If you cannot accept another person's opinion, use ignore function.
If you think someone is trolling you, use report function.

Oh, if you use ignore function, you won't be able to see the message of the person trolling you.

Administrators and Moderators already highlighted in this thread, all three functions (block, ignore, report) are three different purpose...

Unless there is a very strict rule based algorithm on what constitutes "nuisance" before the block function will be effective, it can just be used as a tool to silence opposing views.

If you posts "grapes are sour" and I cannot see it, I cannot reply "not all grapes are sour".
You effectively silenced my view in order to propagate yours.

Let d admin decide over tis n respect watever outcome it may be...i gt nothing to lose n nothing to gain...

But it seems some1 has alot to lose...for watever reason...well lets just say i dont know y..lol...
