FEVO Prepaid Mastercard

Today I managed to log in fevo, sign up for ezlink (with document upload), then top-up successfully the Master prepaid credit card.

First attempt failed.
But in 2nd attempt, I log in using IC number (rather than CC number as suggested by "ThreeSteps" in his post) and it worked -- allowed me to sign up for ezlink account so that Top-up option is activated.
A bit of bug here and there. Sometimes hang, but if you go back to previous page n redo, it works.
After document upload (need use hand phone to take image), it says takes 7 days to process, but i ignore and proceeded with Top-up, and get successfully Top-up message with new money amount displayed.
After document upload, can use pc to do Top-up, if you feel it is more secure

any advantage of using this card with the 1% fee...?

Safer. At most you lose what is stored in card only. So can use in 'less safe' shops and online sites.
But agree with you the 1% charge is bad. Previously using AXS for M1 prepaid CC, top-up was free. One step backwards.
I already paid when I buy the card, so rather than throw it aside make it still work for me

I can only add one card.

I just clicked the ‘Add Card’ option today at Fevo website, and it seems to be working now i.e. to add the next card. However, I am unable to fully verify this since I do not have a second card to add.

If u made a mistake buying (cost $5?), just write it off, and use another similar card which is free and dun charge u for topping up and give u free cash upon signup!

I collected so many mastercard prepaid card free plus $3, use the $3 and then finally "dump".

I spend about $500 a year buying from these sites where I prefer to use a prepaid MasterCard. That means it will work out to an extra $5 due to this 1% charge. I do not mind just paying $5 per year just to continue using this card for the convenience.

I know this reply may elicit another response from some saying "what can i say".

Btw you can enjoy the same convenience but without the fees by using youtrip. Youtrip is free, and in fact you get $3-$10 depending on the promo of new signup. Also there is no foreign exchange fees should u use it overseas or on foreign websites.

You only see the option to add card after verification is completed

Are u referring to YouTrip can't spend on AXS (it is stated in the FAQ) or do you mean FEVO now cannot be used in AXS?

Fevo cannot use to pay credit card bill. i have someone told me that fevo cannot pay for other bills. ymmv

I tried to topup using their new portal, but failed. Then I saw charges being posted to my credit card of USD$10. The charges are not "pending", they're "posted". Obviously USD$10 is not even the amount I selected.

Damn lousy company.

I was also cheated USD10 by Ezlink for an aborted topup. When called EzLink, they are so cunning, even refused to check if there is such a transaction at their end and why USD was charged, but only asked me to send them email to provide the "evidence". WTF!

Luckily my topup card is Amex. calling Amex and the CSO refund the USD10 charge on the spot.

Ezlink biz got trashed day by day. Really karma served.
