Usually one to two days max unless it’s some major fault

I wish I had two weeks. It's already 160k and a half. Think I'll just go straight to the workshops this time. Any idea how long it takes? Downtime

Usually ard 100k. Accumulator can spoil earlier but it’s a cheaper part

Hi, if u r ok wif car parts, try United Motors - 62948744. I usually buy my parts from them. Prices r reasonable. For actuator or accumulator, best bring to a reliable workshop locally. My usual is Prowerkz. If it's simple things like brake pads... Can consider bringing to JB. I did it once n price was abt 1/3 of what it will cost in SG.

Hope this helps!

Hi Everyone,

Just got myself a 1.4 t-jet manual and hope to get some advice/help from seniors here..
1) Where and how much does it cost to make a spare ignition key?
2) Where would you recommend to change the clutch and the cost?
Thanks.

Cant remember the name of the workshop as I remember it by location. Its located along Jalan Dato Sulaiman with a "350" in led sign outside. Its next to LOL Darts Cafe. Opens from 3pm to 2am. If you are going, look for Ah Jie.

The price may not be the cheapest in JB, but the work gets done and no BS about whether parts need to change or not.

Just came back from the workshop on Sun nite. For ref, got a HD rear cam, install front cam, install a head unit, brought my own rotors, pads and lower arms to replace, change all bulbs in car to white light. 5+hrs job and I paid rm$800 in total.

Welcome to the manual club!

1) to make a spare key, using the codes from yr current key, will be between $1-200, depending if u want to get another remote or not. I lost mine without a spare n it cost me over $500 to replace and thats even without the remote. Can do it at Newton Auto Keys at The Grandstand.

2) cant help much there, but call tanly or united to find out cost of clutch first.

Good luck.
