I just had my finevu cr300hd installed at mycarshop.sg, the ppl there provides good after sales services not to mention installation services.. the boss is quite a good guy, easy to talk to, and also friendly..
By the way I am not advertising for any company, just sharing my experience.. had 1 installed by them, going back for another one.. :)

How much did you pay for Finevu CR300HD? Compared to Itronics, it is quite pricey. I called Mycarshop.sg and they quoted me $619 all inclusive for one continental car.

Itronics is charging about $700++ for the ITB-500HD range with 2 cameras all inclusive if i am not wrong.

My almost 2yr old CR300HD internal built-in battery has totally gone dead, it powers off instantly when external power source is disconnected. Only issues will be that last recorded video will not be saved, video timestamp all reset to 2012-01-01 1200hrs

Any fellow users same problem? :(

An update over my previous post.....

I believe users whom have bought this model have used it for close to 2yrs or slightly over 2yrs so warranty is definitely over. A check with the importer of my CR300HD that to replace the internal battery, the cost of battery and shipping costs to and fro S.Korea will set me around SGD$70 and lead time about 3 weeks.

Since then I have googled the links on how to dismantle the set:

Link courtesy from blackboxmycar.com

How to dismantle unit

Replacement battery can be bought in SLS #02-70 Unicell Pte Ltd
Costs around SGD$7

IMPORTANT NOTE
You need to retain the original PCB board that comes with the CR300HD internal battery and solder the (+) and (-) terminals of the new battery to the CR300HD original PCB board

Picture link can be found here, courtesy from dashcamtalk.com Link

Basically you need soldering tool kit to do the job, you may try your luck with SLS backlane shops that does repair of laptops or HPs to help you solder the terminals for a token fee ranging $2-5 ;)

Lastly, wish bros here good luck! :)
