I had performance anxiety.

My booth had some scrap paper with XXX all over the place so I obliged and test fired a few shots.

After that I read the ballot slip carefully, even using my fingers to trace names to logo before carefully zeroing the chop and placing a perfect X right in the middle of the box.

Very proud to have done my civic duty.

Same. I also test chop twice. Cause last PE and GE the chop either light inked or i didn't got the X in the right direction not that it matters.

I think some years back someone shared an article that a tick is not better than a X because the tick can be crossed out and the actual tick put in another candidate's box to distort the voter's intention.

On the other hand it is not easy to distort a cross back into a tick.

We should have just use a O.

I reached my polling station at 09:55 hr. I did not even have time to pause and wait for a second. I deposited my ballot slip and was out of the station by 09:58 hr.

This was the most efficient voting experience I ever had in over 2 decades.
