Hi, What is ChatGPT?
https://www.zdnet.com/article/what-is-chatgpt-and-why-does-it-matter-heres-what-you-need-to-know/
It can help you to write on an itinerary. Just type in write me an itinerary for X days at this prefecture and X days at that prefecture with a more cost effective planning.

Only you yourself know what you are interested in and how willing you are in terms of waking up early to do a daytrip out of Tokyo, it is hard for people to write you an itinerary that is catered to your preferences/liking.

Any recommendation for 6 days Jap Itinerary for 2 pax? Mainly sightseeing, food, onsen.

1. Tokyo - 3 days
2. Kyoto - 2 days
3. Hakone -1 day

If we hop around hotel amount these 3 cities, is it feasible? Or should I take day tour for Hakone for the Mt Fuji rivercriuse?

Planning for a more cost effective trip. thx.
It is never cost efficient to do Tokyo and Osaka/Kyoto together for a 6 days trip. If you are spending on 3 days in Tokyo and 2 days in Kyoto only, I would say, skip Japan altogether.

Agree. Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka and back is $300 a pax. Add the traveling time. Tokyo is a very big city. Even 6 days isn't enough.

Hakone has nothing at night. Last time I went there, things shut down in the evening.
So day trip is good enough. Spend the night elsewhere bah

actually if u take into account on flight in/out, check in/out, transportation you really only have 3~4days for actual traveling

so better to stick to one city like tokyo & do day trips. hakone ok for day trip.

I stayed 2 nights at Hakone and 2 nights at the 5 Lakes. No point rushing back to a Tokyo every time. I enjoyed this part of my Tokyo trip better than the city area.
