bus you sure want take bus. longer then SG to KL man. i think a good 10 hours at least.

I would say more then double that of sg to kl, it actually took me about 14 hours to drive from Bkk to udon. But then that was during song kran with the massive jam up. No experience taking bus up, so my guess would be around 10 to 12 hours too.

Wah! That's a lot of time man! :eek:

And no good hotel in udon. I stayed central udon would say is the best hotel there but it's only decent. Had problem with the room till they refund me a night for it. Next trip staying else where. Booked but cant remember which hotel

Sigh. Sounds like when I travelled to my friends hometown for his wedding. :(

I guessed its time to revive this thread of mine since the official trip to Bkk has been confirmed.

I'll be travelling there from 27 Mar to 2 Apr. Here's a rough itinerary with only Night Markets in mind. Ultimately I would like to visit some nice places to take photos do I'll need some experts advice here.

Day 1: Sunday 27/3/2016
(Arrival around 5.30pm)

[NIGHT MARKET HIGHLIGHT]- Rod Fai Market 1
-> Sri Nakarin Soi 51, behind Paradise Park, Fri - Sun 6pm to midnight
-> Railway theme market
-> Tons of bars and coffee shops.
-> market is really deep and the goo stuffs is right at the back.

-> Tons of counterfeit stuffs,
-> cheap booze

-> MRT Bang Son (Wed - Sun 6pm - 1am)
-> sells tons of secondhand and faux-old items.
-> Nostalgic stuffs

-> 1 Kamphaeng Phet 3, Chatuchak, near the Mo Chit BTS
-> Beside Chatuchak Market
-> Thursday to Sunday 6pm - 1am
