Yea, it's pretty good. Not sure which is the original one but this? (http://www.lazada.sg/corsair-gaming-k70-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-red-161065.html) I myself prefer something that looks more simple like a filco :)

K70 to me is a rubbish keyboard. (Sorry to those k70 owners out there). Why i say that. It requires softwares to run the keyboards settings of the led and other macro stuffs.

I wont trade a keyboard with so cumbersome software to play my own games. Also the glare led even the lowest settings feel too bright.

Quality build is good. But like ive said even with softwares bundle, i would want to have something easier and less hectic to use.

Sorry noobie here haha! was just referring to their price list which said they dont.

When any merchants tell you

"CC and NETS 0% charges, ask for cash discount"

This means that if you don't ask for cash discount lim peh will charge you my "normal" price which is all bank charges included. If you pay me cash and you neh ask lim peh will be more happy because you pay me the factored-in bank charges for nothing :s13:

TBH not only SLS lah, you go funan buy camera/photography equipment all like that one. Either their prices are already factored-in, or they quote you cash price to make the numbers competitive but you have to pay strictly by cash lor.

K70rgb leh. The one that sexmuffin link provided.

K70 vengeance i know has lesser things to use. But if can, no softwares is the best.

Any specific models? below 500 and any cheaper would be awesome

I've been using mine for about 2years+, but its a pretty old model which is not being sold anymore. You can take a look/get more info from another thread.

http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/h...-crossover-ips-lcd-27-inches-3670581-109.html

Its really pretty good value for money in my opinion, paying ~300sgd(?) for a 27" 2560x1440 panel.

Downside to my model is that I think the metal frame is starting to rust as I see some paint bubbling.
Also, downside to the older models is that they only supported dual link DVI, so you can't just plug in things via HDMI(laptop etc). But I believe there are newer models with all the different ports etc.

Yes, special symbols kills me. A-Z I can type eyes closed by symbols cannot :s13:

And ok lah tbh sometimes I type okay cos I know the starting position of the keys. But sometimes like hands go take the tumbler for a sip then accidentally press E instad of W for the WASD movement. Sometimes even more off, press R for auto-run lmao then see my toon run to enemy, chua sai.

Depending if you need the num pad. You can take a look at Filco Majestouch 2, Ducky shine series out there. These 2 brands are pretty famous. Both would cost you around ~200. If you want something cheaper can take a look at Cooler master's quick fire.

links to the various products.

cooler master: http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/keyboards/novatouchtkl/

Ducky: http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/keyboard.html

Filco: https://www.diatec.co.jp/en/det.php?prod_c=757

If you want something really small (60%) you can take a look at the Pok3r

http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1238

The most important thing when choosing a keyboard is knowing which switch you want. Do some research and go down to some shops and test the different switches out before getting yours. Also, dont listen to people who say "Red is for gaming" Go with whatever you feel is right / like.

Guys went to get my stuff today at SLS
This is what I got:
I5 4690+ MSI H97 gaming 3
Corsair vengeance 16gb RAM
WD Blue 1 TB
Samsung 250gb evo
MSI GTX 970 4GB gaming
NZXT H440
Super flower leadex gold 550w
Asus vg248qe
Logitech g502
Logitech g240
Corsair vengeance k70 NON-RGB
Logitech g430
Total:2630 assembled at best bargain(this is what I went for)
Tradepac offered 2500 after very long bargaining of about 1.5hrs and PC theme offered 2780. Wanted to go with tradepac but they didn't have warranty for some of the products and they changed my mobo and my psu. My mobo is was changed to ASUS h97 pro gaming (which I was ok with) but the psu was changed to some corsair one which I didn't really like. Decided to go for a shop with after service in the end because I wasn't sure what I was going to do if some of the parts spoiled as I ain't the best with handling pc parts. Also cause ah neh pissing me off with constant changes in price and whether he can get the parts.

Big thanks to everyone esp royfrosty for helping me choose the parts and answering my queries.
