I prefer ak120 over ak120 ii. I don't see how the ak120 is obsolete. Ak products usually have decent built quality. Worse case scenario is to send back ak also have to llst help to repair, and the consumer has to wait.

Just read some reviews on AK240 on head-fi and a bit swayed now to sell AK120 Titan I bought to buy this instead.... of course is double the price but cost is not an issue for me just whether it really make that much a difference between the two...

$1700 for AK120, even with a 128GB card, is quite pricey.

Personally, I'd go for Calyx M. Do love how lush it sounds, yet the clarity is still there.
Not to mention that it's improving with every firmware Calyx pushes out.

Just read some reviews on AK240 on head-fi and a bit swayed now to sell AK120 Titan I bought to buy this instead.... of course is double the price but cost is not an issue for me just whether it really make that much a difference between the two...

The ii series i dont think requires modding though, all are excellent on their own imo. The ak240 too
