Don't be so surprised by Astell & Kern prices for their products here, with the exception of the first gen AK100 and AK100 MKII, their local pricings for their products here have always been pretty close to astronomical values due to their globally well-known positioning/branding of the name now. Just go ConnectIT outlets ask how much are the AKR02 and AKR03 earphone models, the former is actually a re-branded and retuned version of FI-BA-SS made by Final Audio Design, while the latter pair is a re-branded and retuned version of JH Audio's Siren Series 'The Roxanne'. Both of these A&K variants are def priced much more expensively than their normal universal variant counterparts for very obvious reasons.\

IIRC from one of my prev email exchange with SKM marketing known as the local distributor for A&K which I had alrdy deleted, the AKR02 MSRP locally here is at SGD 1,899 while the AKR03 is at least half a grand more than the AKR02's prices, but given that both products have already been released here for close to 10 mths now it's prolly quite expected for ConnectIT to have already slightly dropped their prices currently now. You should be able to find both A&K variant earphone models for demo at the ConnectIT outlets here but the last i checked, I believe the AKR02 is only avail at the JEM branch IIRC.

Just sharing abit regarding the A&K branded earphones since some pple out there might not be aware of their existence, and I also personally own the AKR02's at the moment and have been using them since July, and I can personally share that other than the AK120/AK240 player devices these seem to have a great synergy with the NW-ZX1 Sony Walkman player as well. (which I am personally using atm)

Machie boyboy, your signature already contradicts with your purchasing mindset so why bother. For you is UERM all the way, why waste yr monies on FitEar. After settle your ciem liao then go slowly save and plan your potential DAP setup. You haz no need for multiple IEMs lah.
