Sometimes would wonder if anyone ask the iem makers, if the sound they tuned was based on the stock cables and using other cables would change the original sound it was intended to have.

i know that not all would agree changing to a different cable would yield better sound to them.

Can't wait for ur toxic cables pk :D

Because everyone hear things differently and some like heavy bass but some go for clarity.

I think one can only trial the cable by what material it uses. Copper giving more bass and Silver more clarity and it's depend on what you think your IEM is lacking.

The 000 cable as what I checked with that guy is $400.
The 001 cable is around $130.
The rest is around $70.

The price is getting from Japan one.

The MSRP jump from 001 cable to 000 cable is indeed quite significant, Fujiya sells the 001 for only 10,500 yen but the 000 cable costs ard 28,350 yen, more than double the pricetag.

I'm actually having plans to import in the Parterre soon prolly by end July, and there's actually some recent news reports over at JP side that Yodobashi-Akiba, Yodobashi's main flagship store and their online website Yodobashi.com will be having some exclusive bundled sales of the Parterre bundled with the 000 cable by default, for ard 128,000 yen from July 19th onwards. Typically the Parterre like the TG 334 universals by if you were to purchase them from their official retailers there such as frm Fujiya-Avic/e-Earphone, usually only comes with the 001 cable by default.

If Yodobashi has no long waiting time, I think i might bite it cause by normally 2 mths is really a pretty long wait and I'm actually damn curious to listen to the Parterre's now after reading a recent japanese blogger review that this universal model measures up or even precedes the UE18 customs, which are reknowned for their treble clarity soundstage properties among CIEM owners.

This Parterre bundle costs as much as a brand new set of AK120, and right now I'm still not really sure if I'm supposed to be making such an insane purchase decision here, when im supposed to set aside some moola for my upcoming ATH desktop amp purchase. Will have to decide soon though and i think my wallet will really hate me.

Fatalethal of the gold clan and guan of the ayon clan.

Mani mani clans around man, so scary

Bevan you damn noisy leh, diam diam rah. :vijayadmin: Says the one who's a Fitear **** himself, furthermore this is a Fitear appreciation/paul lampard thread lehs, what blasphemy for someone who carrying Suyama Fitear's lampard until big big, to actually suan others who doesnt own Fitear at all
:s8:

Yah so I love to paul ATH's lampard...problem? =:p ATH brought me into this hobby one leh, if there was no ATH this company's existence I will nv have the passion or determination to delve deeper into this hobby one and check out other brands as well, speaking honestly.
:D :D

Agree that more driver does not means better sq. but if tuning is right, more driver can make tuning more precise.
So it all depends on the fine tuning of driver

Multiple drivers/crossovers implementation is one of the main flaws of most multi-BA setups out there frm my personal observations/listens. Given FAD's current philosophy behind same as maker FutureSonics (prev had a similar kind of discussion once with Rickysio b4), having listened to quite abit of single-BA stuffs from FAD and Fitear, compared to other makers frm even my beloved ATH I personally feel that given the right precision and engineering skills from a talented sound engineer, it can still extremely terrific even if it's a single-driver or triple-driver configuration.

Personally i feel that alot of single driver FAD models are actually forbidden to be sold on the market, from my own listening experience alot of their SQ level can actually rival alot of dual-driver/triple-driver BA config models from other big-name makers that I would rather not name.

Not withstanding FAD's domestic high prices for their Piano Forte series (which are mostly to do with the material/build of their metal enclosure housings since it has to be man-make and their workshop is pretty small), I will say Final Audio Design's heaven series are some of the most interesting single-BA driver universal iem models I have ever had the chance to listen to, that has natural realism timbre qualities with outstanding soundstage properties coupled with good clarity/bass as well.

Yr Private 333, after Guan's review nb made me damn curious abt it. It seems like a much more refined version of the CK100PRO sia, as the ATH's also has some pretty aggressive mids characteristics to it that's also brings a forward presentation compared to the C435 when I tried Uncle Wilson's set. (by far and miles, in my own exp EX1000/EX800st overall presentation is even more laidback/romantic compared to the ATH's though the Sony's certainly do not have recessed mids at all)

While I do like the C435's presentation as well, I have found from my prev listening experience especially frm my ownership of Grados/ATHs usually I tend to like a much more aggressive SQ presentation as found in certain ATH models such as the 100PRO's and AD1000PRMs.

Do the Private 333's presentation sound more aggressive to you, when compared to universals like the F111/CK100PRO's? I think these may be my kind of thing too, jialats.

now become i am the owner of the 333 again

:mad::mad::mad:

I tried the demo 333 at jaben with guan earlier this week, and compared to the ck100 reshell moi did wib null audio rast time the 333 is alot more aggresssive in the mids. ck100 was alot more polite, everything balanced throughout although there was a little emphasis on the mids.

chiu shouldve seen guan's reaction when he tried the 333 with adele. it didnt make adele slimmer or more bui, but his jaw kept dropping :s13::s13:

CK100's presentation compared to CK100PRO/CK10, all along is more polite/laidback de, i have never once considered them to be aggressive sounding iems especially compared to other stuffs I heard personally from Grados/ATH. And no CK100 doesn't have alittle emphasis in the mids, it's pretty considered a mid-centric iem by me as well as alot of other taiwanese/hk fans, and def has a more mid-forward presentationcompared to the 100PROs/CK10 has the latter 2 are much more flatter/neutral in presentation.

Because of CK100PRO's aggressive SQ nature, i also consider them to be much better in terms of transients/PRaT factor compared to the CK100's. IMO rock/electronica genres just sounds so much more enjoyable/fun compared the older flagship, so if what u are saying is true...I really think I need to find a chance to listen to the 333's liao.
:vijayadmin:

Adele's vocals already sounds very poisonous on my 100PRO's + TTVJ slim combo tgt on my Walkman Z, can't imagine srsly how it sounds like on the 333's judging frm what u had just described of Joe's jaw-dropping incident.

haonan hooting universal?

Yeah. Not very crazy over their customs atm though I'm also genuinely interested in their Monet/Private 333's for now. My ears are considered much more lucky than some other ppl, I can easily wear triple-flange tips on my universals for long hrs, and if I want seal + comfort I can just use Comply tips all the way.

Though i nv actually got the chance to try the TG 334 as Jaben are sold out atm, I can get a pretty gd comfort seal with the F111 previously, and the Parterre are not any much larger in terms of enclosure housings so shouldn't be a problem for me. Most user impressions from ppl on Head-fi back during the May headphone fest in JP were quite positive as well, and if a japanese blogger said this is comparable to a UE18, then there must be some truth to those Head-fiers claims as well.

The 000 cable next time if I happen to move up to Monet also can be re-used as well.
