The Passport Membership also allows you to train overseas (but you need to inform them first, so to get the international pass). That's why it's called passport.

It's wise if the convenience of its location will make it easier for you to go regularly, simple as that. You balance your budget vs your convenience and frequency. The monthly rate is in the 150 range.

No point paying peanuts for a gym that's so leichey to get to you end up not going.

What kinda amenities do you want?

I see treadmills, bikes, yoga studio, class room, machines, free weights. 1 flat bench, 1 incline bench, 1 squat rack, 1 smith machine, 1 chin/dip station, 1 cross cable. The machines are all standard. I think there's a steam room in the men's.

Generally not too crowded in the morning and day.

They also have student rates and off peak rates. Do check with them.
Just give a visit, ask around, or even ask for free pass.
They don't really hard sell. You don't want also they don't force.

Paragon branch also one squat rack ... I suspect most globogym will only have one squat rack ... but on the whole Paragon equipment better, they have a power cage for squat. I believe they have 2 flat bench?

Paragon has denser carpeting, absorbs impact better. Their plates have holes for better grip. But their 'Olympic bars' have plastic ends and are lighter. However, the ends fit into the plates better and make less noise since it's plastic rubbing against metal.

And because Paragon is on lvl 8, there're windows all round the gym, working out in sunlight is nice. You also get more professionals and executive types.
