If you ask me, Beijing has nothing much..

Most attractions in China are repetitive just like Japan. But they do have some unique features in different areas.

I see, different people different ex. Ya the good vary greatly from province to province but the old town look pretty muchthe same

I prefer Shanghai over Beijing.

Beijing transport infrastructure too oldish

The metro stations many no escalator, staircase up down up down up down up down

Then underground walking paths to transfer station very looooonnggg

Just when you thought reach liao you see staircase then up down up down again.

I read that because Beijing ancient city so there are limitations to what can be done underground so all the funny twist and turn come out

The local food also not my taste what 卤煮 炒干 豆汁

Chengdu > Hangzhou > Shanghai > Tianjin > Beijing

> i.e. pawns

Nothing much to see.. 紫禁城, 故宫..

And super long queue.

Beijing so-so only. Hangzhou is so much nicer

Hmm, my friend came back from Chengdu and he was quite impressed by the pandas

I, on the other hand, went to Beijing zoo and came away underwhelmed hahah

PSA - please avoid Beijing Zoo, it's really pathetic

One of the most pathetic zoos I have ever been. I pity the animals there

The real 和平饭店！

I stayed there for 3 nights while in Shanghai. Imo, it is overrated. The toilets are the old-school type. Not saying old-school isn't good......but for the money that you paid.......it's definitely not worth it. However, the location is nice. Just across the hotel is already the nice view of the Shanghai Pearl tower.

But didn’t feel it’s worth the price.

Besides, I don’t need to go the Bund every single day even though it’s just 50m away.

Only went for the evening jazz session performed by ah laos

Hangzhou is boring as F. Go only when they got tech show

Not really la. Depends on what you like. Have quite a number of lovely scenic attractions (if you are into this) for you to spend a couple of days there (max 3 I think). Tech show e.t.c. go Shenzhen.
