No problem watching video streaming at all. You must know which sites to go. Some sites allow people outside China to watch whileas many do not allow us to watch. This has nothing to do with ISP. China authority will block outsider from watching their program. They have their copy right and they also have some policies etc.

Ya i know that is not ISP issue cause other non china sites is ok. Youku TV version is blocking and china apps that extract video can watch but keep buffering every few minutes so i get a VPN with china servers and it worked for me.

You mean static or dynamic public IP? M1 by default is dynamic public IP, restart ONT and the public IP will change.

i mean static how to check but i think i know now ..if external IP changes after restart router mean it is dynamic IP.

So M1 Gamepro also dynamic IP too?

M1 do offer static IP as an add-on.

https://www.m1.com.sg/Personal/home-broadband/StaticIP

However, I dont see any mention that there is a free static IP for the GamePRO plan. I think that promo no more already.

For myself i do not think i want to pay for VPN just to watch China Tv. Hong Kong Drama and movies i do not mind watching but not China. I like TVB drama as no need VPN.

Chrome also has Free VPN but it is dangerous to use such free VPN as you are using another user internet connection or his local ip.

Understand that their VPN is quite safe but not 100% safe. Public ip address can also be secured. Now the new Chrome will try to make every site into a secured site but some sites like HWZ just can not support. Google and yahoo site can support.

using m1 1gbps plan at $39.

game on csgo, my ping varies from 1ms to 5ms for Singapore local servers.

Good enough for gaming, infact similar to those people on VQ, MYR etc. No point spending on the higher cost plans.

M1 also got some speed drop during peak hours so it is not perfect la. However we do not have other option.

Can anyone advise me how I can go about finding out the IP address of a server I am playing on? The game in question is Battlefield 1 and it's a japan server. I am trying to pinpoint the IP address so that I can ping-test it..

Thanks

Assuming you're using WIndows based on the title above.

Basically go to Start >> Run >> Type in "resmon" without quotes to open 'Resource Monitor'

From Resource Monitor proceed to Network Tab.

Under Network tab proceed to put a check to filter our the program you're trying to sniff from.

After which, proceed to check on TCP connections portion to find out what remote address the program is connecting to.

Cheers!

Seems like M1 has the highest vote for best gaming experience!
Actually i dont mind paying abit more per month if the service, latency and downtime is good.

MR cannot use for those TV box one. Can die watching with it.

Your 2nd sentence suggests that something cheap might not be good. Think plenty of people have shared their views. Now it's up to you to decide. Sometimes paying more doesn't means it's better too.

Cheers!
