For those people with the SCV data point...

Is the SCV data point also being used for Starhub Cable TV users? Or all switch to fibre liao?

Will the point be of any use after analogue TV closes down at the end of this year?

Not so sure what you mean by SCV “DATA” point, if you mean the multiple SCV coaxial cable entry points at home, you can reuse the coaxial cable infrastructure as well for home network. IMDA says it is for basic usage to reach about 100Mbps.

Ref:
https://www.imda.gov.sg/-/media/imd...networking_reference_guide_detailed.pdf?la=en

Forum thread says it can even reach near Gigabit performance with MOCA Adapters.

Starhub tv will cease cable TV and be 100% fibre wef July 2019

You are right, the coaxial port in the wall will be fully useless after this point of time

Sorry for the thread bump, but has anyone actually tested the performance over the MoCA 2.0 adapter?

Already someone provided you the link to "MoCA Network Setup".

Go and read the thread as there are useful answers already provided.

Maybe post your queries there and might get better replies as most are already using.
